Part 2.1: 30/05/07 to 01/06/07

30/05/07

booked for a flight early in the morning. and guess wat, THERE IS NO MCDONALD in changi airport after u've checked in. it was replaced by BURGER KING. =X

anyway, we took jetstar asia. well, since it's budget airline, u can't expect much. but it was really like shit. nobody supposed to bring water bottle WITH water up the plane, so they actually sell water bottle on the flight. at S$3 EACH. FOR A tiny small (not even 330ml, but the SMALLEST one) water bottle. and they sell blanket at $4 per piece. JOKE.

Whatever tt is. we reached hk safe and sound. and we excitedly took out luggages and stuffs and took bus home.

WELL. all was well especially after i had my fav红豆冰. once we'd reached home, i realised tt.... WE TOOK THE WRONG LUGGAGE HOME. crap. i felt so super gulity and bad. lucky there was a tag there, so i called the owner immediately. well.. he was an indian. anyway, becoz i had such a rush schedule- mom booked an appointment for me to do my hk ic... i could only meet him at 5pm tt day. so we arranged time to meet in the evening and i made a call to collect my luggage at 10am at the airport the next day.

well well well.. basically i destroyed tt indian's holiday. well.. i was sorry and i still am. and yes, i had a GOOD scolding (i mean, non stop scolding) from mom.

31/05/07

we went to the airport early to collect my luggage bag. sigh. once i'd collected my luggage bag, we went to eat lunch and boarded another flight at 1130am to Xiamen. hectic. i know.

anyway, all was well, until... when the flight was about to take off, the pilot said that there was a military practice along the route to Xiamen near the Xiamen Airport. so well... stupid AHEM... and becoz' xiamen din confirm, and the pilot kist kept telling us we would be taking off in half an hour. and since from hk to xiamen is an hour ride. there only prepared cakes, drinks and short films. BORED TO DEATH.

After 6 half an hour passed, we finally took off.

and once we touched down, 2 cars were waiting outside the airport, all ready to drive us to An Xi. yes, tt ride took another 3 hours.

by the time we reached my hometown, it was already night. so everywhere was pitch dark. and as it was drizzling earlier on, with the strong wind and the muddy ground, my sandles and skirts were not very helpful.

once we reached the house, we went to see ah ma. she was so tiny. mom started crying and apologizing for having her to wait so long... sigh. emo picture.

shag night, so i din really bother by the surrounding. oh man... just when i wan to sleep at 11pm, i started hearing all the hummmm... all those irritating sound from mosquitoes... mine... it's 3am!? and i was still awake. i had a bad night. i COULDN'T SLEEP AT ALL THAT NIGHT.

01/06/07

oh my gosh... it's only 5am?! and the sky was as bright as 11am in Singapore?!?!?!?! by 7am, it was like... AFTERNOON IN SINGAPORE. becoz' of such strong night, i COULDN'T sleep at all. so i woke up and checked out the area. (of course, greeted ah ma before doing anything)

anyway, the place need major cleaning. well.. but mom said we could only clean on the 4th day. so ya. and she had everything done to pai watever god tt was in the morning.

And then in the afternoon, we went to 清水岩。yes, to pai another god.

the place is VERY VERY HIGH. as in.. it's one of the "AAA TOURIST SPOT in CHINA" hahaha... whatever it is, the scenery there is amazing. and as i was walking around, i could feel the pressure on my eardrums. and i had to keep swallowing water in the beginning. well.. it was a fun trip. =)

by nightfall again, i wore long pants and sprayed insect repellent ALL OVER THE BED and my body before i fell asleep nicely. =)
