Wishing UpON a sTAR
feels like an eternity since i last blogged.
anyway, to update some of u who din meet me up often. i am super tan now. becoz of the instructor job i was working for the last 2 weeks or so.
errr.. my job is actually to teach a class of 40, just to facilitate throughout the proj. BUT, think the boss thinks very highly of me. he actually put me to conduct some of the hall based projects, with 80-360 students. meaning me with the mike, giving lecture. HAHAHA.. ok, back to the proj, the proj is pretty simple. we teach the students how to construct rockets, cars or parachute, then let them launch (which is the most exciting part- splash with water) and lastly explain the theory behind using newton's law (that 3 law.) and some other factors affecting the movement.
it's a very tiring job. as it involves waking up early to reach a sch on time.. (there is a deduction of $20 if we will to be more than 15 mins LATE). yes, there are times when u are posted to sch near the ulu pandang road (no joke. eg today) and i have to wake up at 5+ and left my house at 6am. also, if u're unlucky, u will post to some not so good school or some very naughty boy school. so that, will need my LUNG POWER, coz i will have to raise my voice to.. at least close to full bar. oh yes, patience too, coz' there are always slow students around. lastly, the launching is hold in open space. and usually in the field from 1030 to 1130+ or from 3+ to 4+, so u can imagine how much water i lost everyday.
yes, i am losing my voice, and my noise is not helping at all. it's running at full tap now. not to mention my pimples-filled face... thank god tt it's over! and i can have plenty of rest and honey lemon water.
anyway, the pay is GOOD and the job itself is quite fun. and it made me happy when i gained the trust and respect from students who are classified as the bad ones. they would make jokes with me and keep quiet when i talked. and that made me consider if i should take up teaching as my career in the future. hmm... *thinking* see how.
during this very hectic and tiring schedule, i met up with eugene on tues and paul on fri. paul is still the same old paul. BUT, i think she has somewhat matured and she kinda found her goal in life. which is good. (compared to her "heck care la" attitude in year 1)oh, and she's going to work really hard!! ME TOO!! me is going to work really hard with her!! =) let's jia you together!
looking forward to cycling at pulau ubin on sun and dates with teo on mon and tues!! yay!! better meet ppl up before i going hk on wed~!
